Grits must dump Doofus McG.

In an under-the-table deal Ontario Premier Doofus McGuinty has decided to curse Downtown Toronto by erecting a massive electricity generator right on the lakeshore the city is desperately trying to enhance. Details of the deal are kept secret from the public.

Even more ironic, the dimwitted Dalton is going to plop the atrocity right next to a mothballed generator.
McGuinty was the provincial Liberals’ compromise choice as party leader, outmaneuvering the much worthier and competent Gerrard Kennedy. Big loss for Toronto and the province.
The Grits are now run by an aggressively pro-developer dope who has not tamed the despised Ontario Municipal Board, who permitted destruction of ecologically precious moraine land by housing developers, who would waste hundreds of millions of dollars to make developer-owned land around distant York University more valuable by building a subway station there, who never issued a peep to help rid our city of the Toronto Port Authority and its money-losing airport.
The Liberals need to get rid of McGunity and replace him with someone smart who’s not burdened by having the wrong kinds of friends.
There are plenty of decent Liberals in the provincial cabinet who are head and shoulders above their ludicrous leader.
